the village of St Benoist-sur-Mer there is a very friendly
bar/restaurant and shop called Le Lapin Qui Fume. (the smoking rabbit)
The
famous rabbit can be seen from La Fermette on the roof of the historic
church.
Also
within walking distance is a
viewing platform across the marshlands. Canoes can be hired nearby to
explore the marshes further.
The
nearest beaches of La Tranche sur Mer and Les Conches are a short car
journey or cycle ride away (approximately 10km).
